How long does an MOT take?
An average MOT test takes between 45 and 60 minutes, but there are a couple of other things to take into consideration.
First, if your vehicle fails the test and repairs need to be made this will take longer.
After the MOT test.
If you unfortunately fail your test, we’ll work with you to get back behind the drivers seat as soon as possible.
We’ll provide an itemised quote of repair work required. Upon approval, we’ll schedule in the repair work as soon as possible.
Passing the MOT
If your vehicle passes the MOT:
you’ll get an MOT certificate from the test centre it will be recorded in the MOT database
You might also get a list of ‘minor’ or ‘advisory’ problems to monitor or fix in the future.
